Abstract: If you are struggling to convince your organization there is a need for an Information Governance (IG) program, trying to measure where there may be gaps in your current program, or even just looking for a practical explanation of how the ARMA Principles relate to IG programs, this session is for you! We will explore some examples of what the Principles can mean to you and your organizations, and how you can use them to leverage your IG program.
Speaker Bio: Tony Allen is the ARMA European Region Director and an IGP with 30+ years of experience working in the legal sector. He is currently a Regional Records and Information Governance Manager for a U.S. law firm: Morgan Lewis & Bockius. Based in London, his responsibility covers the EME and APAC regions. His role includes areas of development, implementation, oversight, and endorsement of the Records & IG program. Since 2014, Tony has been President of the ARMA UK Chapter; and since July 2020, he has been the European Region Director.
