Abstract: In the midst of COVID-19 and its more permanent impact on the working environment, Information Governance (IG) departments are presented with a golden opportunity to not only reinforce their current processes but seize opportunities to gain traction for proposed processes.  Through the eyes of the legal industry, our speaker will illustrate ways that IG departments have utilized remote working as a means to strengthen their IG program.

Speaker Bio: Brianne Aul, CRM is the Senior Manager of Information Governance Strategy and Operations at Morgan, Lewis, & Bockius, LLP. Previously, she was the Firmwide Records Senior Manager for Reed Smith, LLP since 2009, a position to which she was promoted after serving as Records Supervisor for the firm’s Pittsburgh office since 2006. Ms. Aul also serves as the Past President of the Pittsburgh Chapter of ARMA, and is a Founding Steering Committee Member of the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium. She became a CRM in December, 2014. Ms. Aul received her B.A. in English from The Pennsylvania State University in 2001, and her M.B.A. from Waynesburg University in 2008.
