INFORMATION GOVERNANCE DURING RESTRUCTURING

January 12, 2021
1:00 – 2:00 EST

Abstract: Most experts expect 2021 to see increased corporate restructuring activity as a result of the financial disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The restructuring process moves rapidly, with many stakeholders requesting quick access to all types of the restructuring company’s information. This presentation will examine information governance (IG) issues and actions to consider in connection with restructuring, with the goal of preparing IG professionals to anticipate requests, respond quickly, and help their companies meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Speaker Bio: LISA LUKASZEWSKI is a talented and respected attorney who focuses her practice solely on IG, eDiscovery, and data privacy issues. As counsel at Redgrave LLP, Lisa helps clients understand, manage, preserve, collect, review, produce, and defensibly dispose of their information assets. Her work includes identifying and reducing legal risks surrounding the implementation of Office 365, developing specialized eDiscovery playbooks, drafting CCPA-compliant privacy policies, and preparing witnesses for 30(b)(6) testimony. She is an active member of The Sedona Conference Working Groups 1 and 6, ARMA International, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
