An Information Governance Program allows an organization to manage information by implementing policies, procedures, and metrics to ensure organizational information as a valued business asset. It is an overall strategy that balances risk with value that information provides. Organizations need to establish a consistent and logical framework so employees can properly comply with and manage data through their IG program. The panelists will discuss how to establish an IG program, how to ensure proper metrics are included in the program, and how to use those metrics to measure progress and program success.
